Well, that didn’t take long.
Just last week Ronan Scolard and Glenn Murphy, two Irishmen who went viral with their medley of Adele songs on YouTube, were the subject of an online campaign to get the ballad singer to invite them onstage to sing with her. Only a few days later, the pair found themselves performing in front of an audience of thousands in Dublin’s 3Arena.
Adele invited the duo, whose video attracted over 100,000 views on YouTube, to join her onstage on Saturday evening, telling the crowd that the pair had “no idea” that she was going to do so. Despite this, she was well-prepared for their impromptu performance, having reportedly got her hands on a piano specifically so they could play for those in attendance.
Fortunately, the pair managed to nail their medley as Adele watched on in the background. Check it out below:
