A few episodes ago on The Flash, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) caught a glimpse of Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) as he traveled to an alternate Earth. But in just a few weeks, the Flash will be visiting Supergirl’s world…whether he wants to or not!
CBS has released the first teaser trailer for “World’s Finest,” the episode of Supergirl that briefly brings the Flash into her world. And while there isn’t much footage in the new teaser, CBS made up for that by releasing a gallery of several images from Supergirl’s crossover event.
Here’s CBS’s official description of the episode:
“Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Grant Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home.”
Considering that the Flash sealed the portals to alternate Earths in his series on The CW, it’s not clear how he managed to get himself stuck on Kara’s Earth. However, the photos show Barry unmasked and hanging out with Supergirl’s friends during the episode. And sure, Team Supergirl are good people, but when is Barry gonna learn to stop unmasking at the drop of a hat?!
You can see the rest of the photos in our gallery below. CBS has set “World’s Finest” to premiere on the Monday, March 28th episode of Supergirl. It’s just a one-way crossover for now, but perhaps Supergirl will eventually visit The Flash as well.
