First Look At Marvel’s ‘Civil War II’ # 0

With Captain America: Civil War coming to theaters next week, Marvel Comics isn’t missing a trick! Nearly ten years after it’s original Civil War crossover event, Civil War II is launching in May, and this time, the Marvel Universe is going full-on Minority Report!

That’s not a joke, by the way. The entire premise of Civil War II is that a new Inhuman named Ulysses has the gift of predicting the future with a high degree of success. Some Marvel heroes like Captain Marvel want to exploit Ulysses and stop all major crimes before they happen. Others, like Iron Man, don’t believe in punishing anyone before a crime has actually been committed. And so, we’ve got ourselves another superhero Civil War. Thanks, Bendis.

It’s been widely hyped that a major Marvel hero will die in Civil War II. aAnd judging by their high profile in these preview pages from Civil War II # 0, it certainly looks like She-Hulk and War Machine are top contenders to be six feet under by the end of this story.

Those stunning pages from Civil War II #0 were drawn by comic book superstar, Olivier Coipel, from a script by Brian Michael Bendis. But for the primary Civil War II miniseries, Bendis will be joined by his frequent collaborator, artist David Marquez.

Civil War II # 0 will be released on Wednesday, May 18. Civil War II # 1 will follow on Wednesday, June 1.

What do you think about the preview pages from Civil War II? And which hero do you think will get killed off this time? Share your predictions below!
