Leicester City Giving Out Free Beer and Pizza to Fans Following Premier League Win

Leicester City is giving away free beer and pizza to fans who attend the club’s match against Everton, in order to celebrate their unlikely Premier League victory.

Leicester made the announcement on the club’s official site today, with them partnering with the club’s sponsor Singha beer in order to “say a special thank you to the Blue Army by inviting them to join in a toast to the Foxes as they prepare to lift the trophy.” Free bottled water will be offered as an alternative, while Pizza Hut is also supplying the club’s fans attending the match with a voucher for a free takeaway pizza in the city.

Leicester will pick up the trophy on Saturday after being crowned champions ahead of this season’s conclusion, following Tottenham and Chelsea’s match last week. Tottenham needed to defeat their London rivals in order to be in with a chance of toppling Leicester, but only managed to carve out a draw.

The Foxes announced the free beer on Twitter alongside the hashtag #havingaparty, a reference to the “Jamie Vardy’s having a party” chant that has been a staple at the King Power Stadium this season thanks to the striker’s impeccable goal-scoring form. The club has previously handed out free beer and Krispy Kreme donuts at their ground.

Leicester will lift the trophy following Saturday’s match.
