From that headline alone you can pretty much make up your mind that this guy is a complete douche.
Uber drivers have to put up with a bunch of crap, and that is not only made evident by the various horror stories they’ve revealed, but it’s made evident by incidents like this one that involved a drunk woman trying to steal an Uber. And yet most of the time things go pretty well for Uber drivers. Although, things didn’t go so well for this French dude and now he’s suing for an absurd amount. Take a look at this ridiculous story.
A dude in France is suing Uber for about $47 million for the dumbest reason: there was apparently a glitch in the app, and because of that his wife learned about the various affairs he was having behind her back. Not so smooth after all, buddy.
This guy’s suit alleges that a glitch in the Uber app is to blame for his wife discovering what a tool he is. It seems this guy used his wife’s phone once to get an Uber, and after he logged out of the app, his wife still continued to get notifications about where he was going and how often. And guess what she did? Yep, she filed for a divorce.
It’s not clear what caused the glitch, but Le Figaro believes it was an issue with iPhones running iOS versions older than December 2015. I don’t know what that means, but I know this guy is a total idiot and deserve this.
