You hear something new everyday.
Two questions: How drunk do you have to be to pass out on a trunk of a car and stay there for 14 miles? And how oblivious do you have to be to not realize a dude is on your trunk? Well that’s one question that Carl Webb and his wife Hazel have to answer eventually as they had no clue a drunk dude was on top of their trunk.
Carl and Hazel drove 14 miles along a highway, and were clueless to the drunk guy on their trunk until a cop pulled them over.

“The officer came up, and he said, ‘Mister, are you aware there’s a body on your trunk?’ And that did not register, Carl told Fox 6. “He goes, ‘Mister, I’m not messing with you. There’s a body on your trunk.’ So I got out. We walked around and sure enough, there he was — still hanging on! Still unconscious, just lying there.”
Damn, Carl, pay attention!
The couple were returning home from a barbecue festival in Memphis, and told the cop they didn’t notice the drunk because it was dark. Carl also has no idea how the drunk held on.
“I have no explanation, other than that little lip right there saved his life,” Carl said.
As for the drunk, the cop woke him up and he started stumbling into traffic. And that’s the moment that the cop grabbed him and tossed him into his police car. No word yet if this dude will be charged
