Chuck Sanders of the Pittsburgh Steelers

It has been a while since Chuck Sanders stepped on the field as a running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers.  About 24 years to be exact.  But even though the Steelers could not find success at the end of the 2010-2011 season by winning Super Bowl XLV, Chuck Sanders has found success of his own.

After finding success in the realty realm, Sanders ventured into the beverage business by becoming an integral part of the Pennsylvania-based beverage company Fever.

I talked with Chuck about the Fever line of drinks, and the aspect he was most excited about was the health value that the drinks provided.  They are full of antioxidants and 100% natural ingredients that are designed to stimulate the body’s senses, enhance body wellness, and provide natural energy that is good for your system.

With all of the energy drinks that are on the market, I am personally excited to see a new beverage that offers a truly healthy way to provide your body with the energy that it needs in our fast-paced society.

I asked Chuck how easily I could get my hands on his new line of beverages, and it looks like it might not be right away for me out here in Southern California.  The East coast and middle of the country is beginning to see the drink more often but distribution deals are still in the works to bring the Fever beverage line out to the West coast.  According to Chuck, the West-coasters may not have to wait too much longer.

Fever is not the only new business venture that Chuck Sanders is working on.  His newest project is the soon-to-open Savoy restaurant in Pittsburgh.  Sanders described the new restaurant as, “Upscale American cuisine with a little extra.”

“I love my hometown, and always knew I would end up here.  After traveling all over the country I just wanted to bring back some of the great food that I have had over the years,” Sanders said.  “Awesome chicken and waffles, kobe steak like you would get in New York or Miami.  You know, food that you have and you’re just like ‘Wow’.”

With Fever picking up steam and Savoy destined to wow the city of Pittsburgh, Chuck Sanders future as a business man appears to be bright.  Now if only he could have pumped the Steeler’s veins with a Fever IV, maybe his hometown team could have had the energy to pull off another Super Bowl victory.

Last but most definitely not least, Mr. Sanders has developed a new drink for his restaurant that uses the Fever beverages!  He was nice enough to give Crave Online the recipe.  Enjoy!
