Let’s all talk about the hell that 27-year-old Lauren Boddy, her ex-boyfriend Luke and her son Morgan all went through when a spider decided to wreck havoc on them. It all kicked off when Boddy noticed a huge red mark on her left leg while sitting on the toilet. Boddy was sent to the hospital when her leg swelled up soon after. But when meds did nothing to help her Boddy had to go through an operation to remove the bite.

According to doctors, the 10cm bite had poisoned Boddy’s blood. But Boddy wasn’t the only banged up. Her ex Luke took a bite on his testicles from the spider while he looked after Boddy’s children while she was at the hospital. Oh, and her son took a bite on his hand, too. What a pissed off spider.

The nightmare wasn’t over. Once Boddy returned from the hospital she was bitten again, this time on the back, and once again she needed an operation.

“I thought it was just a spot,” Ms Boddy told The Sun. “I gave it a little prod and squeeze, but thought nothing more of it. The spot got redder, bigger and looked like it was full of pus, but nothing would come out. It was really bizarre. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.”
It took a few weeks later for Boddy to find the spider, which Boddy believes was a Woodlouse Spider, and kill it with a slipper.

While a bite from this type of spider isn’t life-threatening, it hurts like all hell, so make sure you keep a slipper nearby if you ever find one. You know what? Just keep a weapon nearby in case of any spider.
No word yet if Boddy has set fire to her place yet.
