If you’re old enough to remember Sean Combs and all his name-changing adventures, you will know that he’s changed his nickname plenty of times for no reason at all. First he started off as Sean Combs, then it was Puff Daddy, then Puffy, P. Diddy and finally Diddy. And since he’s completely irrelevant now, Combs decided to change his name again to ‘Brother Love.’
Check out what the 48-year-old tweeted:
I decided to change my name again!
My new name is LOVE aka Brother Love. #TakeDat pic.twitter.com/gArAXusygG

OK then…
But guess what? A former professional wrestling personality named Bruce Prichard was not happy at all with Combs’ new moniker. And why is that? Because Prichard was known as Brother Love when he was a manager at the WWE. Hell, he even hosted a show called The Brother Love Show.
And this is how Prichard responded to Combs’ new name.
Yo. Find a new gimmick. I invented and perfected Brother Love. I am the original and you are not. Remember North Carolina.

And Twitter had to jump on this and fast:
First he steals other people’s music and now other people’s gimmicks. The man needs to be original for once.

Although perhaps Prichard doesn’t mind:
Imitation. Greatest form of flattery.
