United Airlines Fails Again, Sends Kansas-Bound Dog To Japan

Holy hell, United Airlines seriously can’t do anything right these days; they are pure garbage. Just a day after forcing a family to put their puppy in the overhead bin, killing him, the shit airline accidentally sent a Kansas-bound German shepherd named Irgo all the way to Japan.

Kara Swindle and her family are in the middle of moving from Oregon to Kansas, and of course they recently all arrived in Kansas. Well, everyone except their 10-year-old dog. When Kara went to pick up her dog she instead found a Great Dane…who was supposed to be the dog going to Japan. Not Irgo.

“They had no idea where the dog was,” Swindle told CNN. “I burst into tears instantly because this has just all been a whirlwind. They didn’t know [where Irgo was] until 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday when the plane landed in Japan.”

So what in the hell happened? Well here’s how United explained it in a statement:

“An error occurred during connections in Denver for two pets sent to the wrong destinations. We have notified our customers that their pets have arrived safely and will arrange to return the pets to them as soon as possible. We apologize for this mistake and are following up with the vendor kennel where they were kept overnight to understand what happened.”

Irgo was put on a private charter flight and sent directly to Wichita. At least we hope, because United Airlines probably sent him to Russia by accident.

Can we just make United Airlines go out of business? At this point I’d rather just bring back Albany Air.
