Father Finds Lost Son At Lowe’s By Simply Looking Up

We’ve all either run off from our parents as children or had the very same thing happen to us now when the shoe was on the other foot. These things happen, and in hindsight, we had it coming. While it’s terrifying in the moment, more often than not, the kid’s just fine. Perhaps they’re even very close by, you just didn’t happen to be looking in the right place.  If we were a clickbait site we would word the title something like: Father Finds Lost Son – But Then Things Got Even Scarier.

Father Finds Lost Son

Of course, if you don’t happen to be 20-feet tall (as most of us aren’t), this post from Reddit is sure to be a cautionary tale you won’t soon forget.

I heard this kid yelling for his dad at Lowe’s, I went looking for him and….. from r/funny

You could chalk it up to bad parenting. You could assume he’s just a rotten kid looking for trouble. But more than likely, he simply asked one of the workers where to find something and they got it completely wrong. That seems to be the experience any time we visit a Lowe’s hardware store. Sure, you don’t always end up on the top shelf of a bathroom sink display, but don’t lie and say you’ve never been pointed in a similarly bad direction by a clueless worker.

Astonishingly, it could have been worse: This Baby Crawling Across A Highway May Be Auditioning For ‘Baby’s Day Out’ Reboot

Obviously, 90 percent of the jokes made at the post’s expense say the same thing: don’t tell mom. It’s almost as if the vast majority of dads have had similar things happen to them before. Good thing boys even grow up to become men with the shenanigans we put ourselves through.
