Video Shows Family Dressed in Zebra Stripes Spotting Runaway Zebras, And You Can’t Make This Stuff Up

It’s not every day that a dazzle (yes, dazzle is the official title of a group of zebras look it up), escapes from a local farm and graciously crosses your path. However, that’s what happened to former White House official Joshua Dubois after a fishing trip with his kids.

Somehow, five zebras worked together, just like a dazzle would, to escape a farm in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Nobody has been able to outsmart or catch these dazzling creatures, so they’ve been living on their own for about a month, simply roaming the countryside of Prince George County.

Dubois, who previously worked with the Obama Administration, had taken his three small children fishing. For kicks, before they left, his wife dressed his children as zebras earlier in the day to take the children zebra hunting. However, the children encountered zero zebras with their mother. Somehow, on the way home from the fishing trip, Dubois’ six-year-old son said, “Dad, I saw the zebras.”

If you live in Maryland and somehow encounter the zebras, don’t try to confront them. It turns out they’re not playing and may try to bite. Instead, call animal control so you can watch that guy you took a class with in 9th-grade woodshop get bitten instead.
