Adorable Olympics: 4-Year-Old Snowboarder Hilariously Way Less Nerve Racking Than Watching Shaun White (Arguably More Entertaining, Too)

The 2022 Winter Olympics are underway in China and if you’re anything like us, there’s a good chance you haven’t seen much of the events (at least not live). Maybe it’s the time difference or the ongoing pandemic making us less interested in watching figure skating, ice hockey, alpine skiing, and snowboarding this year. It makes us wonder what the Olympic committee would have to change to make us interested in tuning in. What if the skiers were blindfolded? How about if the ski jumpers had a parachute attached to them? Maybe they could add engines to the luges. How about, instead of adults who’ve trained for years, we let toddlers compete in all the events.

An Instagram account called @chasing.sage gives us a glimpse into what that would look like and it’s not an understatement that it would be equally as entertaining as it would be adorable. That’s because, this family mic’d up their 4-year-old daughter Aubrin Sage and filmed her snowboarding antics.

Not only are her quips hilarious and cute, but she’s wearing a rad dinosaur snowboarding suit while she shreds a “secret path” through the woods. Don’t believe us? Take a look at the video and we guarantee you’ll have even less interest in the 2022 Winter Olympics than you already did.
