Meanwhile in Colorado: Box of Human Heads Stolen From Truck, Somebody Is Going All Out For Halloween This Year

If you’re a fan of dark comedies, you might remember a very strange comedy from the ’90s starring Joe Pesci called 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag. In it, Pesci plays a mobster who is transporting a bag with (you guessed it) eight severed heads of rival mafia members. Seemingly an easy task, hilarity and madcap adventures ensue. Part of the whimsy and humor involving this movie premise is how odd and unlikely the whole ordeal would be. That’s why we were so surprised when we heard about a similar event that actually happened in Colorado.

Apparently, a box filled with human heads was stolen from a parked car in the middle of the day in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood last week. While it wasn’t being transported by a mafia member, the heads were going to be used for scientific research. Along with the heads, the body snatcher also stole a dolly used to transport the box.

If you’re anything like us, you’re likely have a few questions. First of all, where were these heads headed? They were headed for “Science Care” a body donation program that uses them for research and educational purposes.

Also, why would someone decided to steal a box of human heads? Did they know what was inside the box? Did they keep it? Did they realize and toss it somewhere? We have so many questions.
