Hey, Mass Effect fans? You know how you’re complaining to anyone who’ll listen that the ending of Mass Effect 3 was awful and deserves to be changed? Well, keep at it, because Sylvester Stallone just proved that if you bitch loud enough, you’ll eventually get your way. After months of concerns that the sequel to The Expendables, a hard R-rated action extravaganza featuring some of the most macho stars in show business, would be rated PG-13 (reportedly at the behest of new co-star Chuck Norris), which Stallone himself confirmed, it looks like we’re going back to the way things were.
Stallone Zone (via AICN) claims that they have just got word from Sylvester Stallone himself, who says, “After taking in all the odd rumors and hearsay, Expendables II is an R.”
If true, it might not be a good idea to get too excited just yet. If the R-rating is a last minute addition to the film (which has been filming for quite a while now), that means they weren’t planning on making the film a blood and guts-fest to begin with. They’ll either have to add the shiznit in post (ugh… CGI squibs) or just make do with what they’ve got, and simply not worry about the MPAA when the time comes to submit.
CraveOnline will be back with more Expendables 2 news after we manage our expendablense account. Tax season is upon us, dudes.
