Hell Baby: Exclusive Poster Premiere

It’s not your water that just broke, it’s the first ever poster for Hell Baby, the new comedy from “The State” founders Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant. After its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival – where CraveOnline called it “a genuinely hilarious farce” – the new horror comedy Hell Baby is getting ready to crown at the illustrious Cannes Film Festival, where its paint thinner-drinking, pizza salad-eating and ultraviolent sense of humor are bound to stand out from the latest films from Jim Jarmusch, The Coen Bros, François Ozon and Roman Polanski. Okay, maybe not so much Roman Polanski… Hell Baby is still a Rosemary’s Baby satire after all.

Hell Baby stars Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine) and Leslie Bibb (Iron Man) as an expecting couple who move into a haunted house and fight off evil ghost hags and naked sister-in-laws while a pair of special Vatican Agents (Lennon and Garant) make their way, slowly, to the save them from the demon spawn in Bibb’s womb. The first poster is actually a fairly classy affair, stylistically anyway. Content-wise it’s still pretty silly, but the contrast between goofiness and artsy poster design is a good indication of the film’s take on horror satire.
