Phil Jackson; the great and mighty Zen Master. No coach in the history of sports has been able to so successfully manage the ego of the professional athlete while installing novel concepts that transcend the game. After playing with the Knicks decades ago, Jackson went on to win six championship with Jordan and the Bulls before reeling off five more with the Shaq/Kobe Lakers era.
And oh ya, you can’t forget that he actually won two championships while playing with those Knickerbockers.
That’s right. The dude has 13 championship rings. And this is what it looks like when you line them up all pretty like and display them on Twitter, as Jackson did recently.
Simply ridiculous.
Jackson said he has a book coming out next week titled 11 Rings.
