The pre-Comic Con marketing flood is in full swing and today, it’s a big one: Jamie Foxx as Electro for The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
We’ve seen the Times Square photos of a hooded Foxx with blue glow lights but this full figure Electro, courtesy of Crave’s Collider site, facing Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man is something to behold. Notice Foxx’s left ear is burned away which may mean the incident that makes him into Electro also injures him. (We’re not sure about the lighting bolt on the sleeve, but whatever.)
We should here more about the character concept for Electro at the Comic Con panel in Hall H. In fact, Crave is live in San Diego next week and will have all the news as it happens.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to open May 2, 2014.
