A new show on the SLICE network, “Extreme Collectors,” goes behind the scenes into a fascinating world of collectors and their incredible curated collections. Part road trip and part treasure hunt, host and professional appraiser Andrew Zegers travels across North America from coast to coast visiting extreme collectors and revealing the shocking values of their collections.
A few highlights include:
– Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor and director Corbin Bernsen shares his collection of 8,000 snow globes and is shocked when he finds out that his collection is worth more than double than what he expected.
– Veteran actor, director and producer Penny Marshall shows off her amazing collection of sports memorabilia worth millions.
– A beer can collection in Philadelphia, consisting of over 80,000 cans is appraised at $1.6 million.
– A Brantford, ON native shares his collection of 15,000 videogames, the largest collection in Canada.
– A Cadillac collection based out of London, ON is appraised at a whopping $12.5 million.
– A Florida collector with a Guinness Book of World Records yo-yo collection is gob-smacked when one of the yo-yos in his collection is appraised at $80,000.
