PAX Prime: Godus Release Date Announced by Peter Molyneux

If you love playing as a god—Black and White, anyone?—whether that means creating life, expanding towns, or eviscerating colonies then Godus might be the game for you.

If you have already heard about this game, then you know that it was announced by Peter Molyneux and then the beta was released in December of last year. Well, today Molyneux further demonstrated the game in front of a live audience at PAX, where he also stated:

For a long time I’ve been excited with how the game is evolving, I already feel there is nothing in the world like Godus. This is the type of game I have dreamt of making since first getting into the industry; having people play the beta and give us valuable feedback while doing so, makes that dream a reality.

With this realization and prowess he announced that it will finally be available for the Mac and PC on September 13 via Steam’s Early Access for only $19. For anyone wondering if the game is worth being excited about Molyneux’s excitement alone should speak for itself.

Be sure to keep up with more of our PAX coverage throughout the week.
