Breaking Bad Creators Turned Down Jeffrey Katzenberg’s $75 Million for Three More Episodes

Jeffrey Katzenberg, co-founder of Dreamworks, was willing to put his money on making more Breaking Bad.

Crave’s Collider website Wednesday reported on an offer of $75 million dollars to produce another three hours of content for the show.  Katzenberg said he wanted to create a month-long event of daily six minute episodes distributed online.

“I said (to them), ‘I’m going to create the greatest pay-per-view television event for scripted programming anybody’s ever done,’ ” – Jeffrey Katzenberg

Clearly whomever Katzenberg made this offer to didn’t take him up on his $75 million.
