“Arrow” closed out the first half of its second season with the revelation that one of Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) closest friends has become his greatest enemy.
However, Oliver is currently unaware of Slade Wilson’s (Manu Bennett) return. Instead, Oliver is focused on “the man in the skull mask,” aka Brother Blood (Kevin Alejandro). As “Arrow” viewers already know, Brother Blood is the alter ego of Alderman Sebastian Blood, a man who seems poised to be the next mayor of Starling City.
The first of three new episodes this month kicks off next week as the Arrow takes on an explosives expert nicknamed Shrapnel (Sean Maher) while trying to uncover Brother Blood’s true identity.
The CW has released a minute long trailer from the next episode of “Arrow” that features Oliver in action, a glimpse of Roy Harper’s (Colton Haynes) new super-strength and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) reluctantly reaching out to the Arrow with some unsettling information about Sebastian Blood.
“Arrow” returns to the CW on Wednesday, January 15.
