If you thought any franchise was due for the FPS treatment, would it have been Rambo? Apparently Rambo: The Video Game (love the title) is being developed by Polish developer Teyon and published by Reef Entertainment, explores the battles from the first three movies of Sylvester Stallone's Vietnam veteran franchise.
To us, the video, posted to Crave's sister site Destructoid, looks a little … derivative. I mean, COD with a Rambo skin sounds like it's going the way of Aliens: Colonial Marines.
We won't pass judgment yet (we'll leave that to you), but we're betting we know what the reviews of Rambo: The Video Game are going to look like when the title is released in a few weeks. Note to Stallone: We know you made money on this, but this might not be the best reflection of your vision.
