The original OLN show “Wild Things With Dominic Monaghan” returns to the network in March with a new set of adventures.
Esteemed actor and animal lover Dominic Monaghan (“Lord of the Rings,” “Lost”) is setting out on a brand new quest for the world’s most fascinating and frightening creatures on Season 2 of “Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan.” Beginning Tuesday, March 25th at 9pm, the 10-episode, one-hour series transports viewers to remote areas of the earth where Monaghan experiences the local culture, and gets up-close-and-personal with the region’s most intimidating and impressive animals.
“Dominic brings an infectious energy to the series that seamlessly complements OLN’s dynamic roster of programs and characters,” said Nataline Rodrigues, Director of Original Programming, Rogers Media (in a press release). “This season takes fans to new and vibrant locations, and maintains the same intensity that attracted viewers to the series last year.”
This season Monaghan journeys to Brazil, Zambia, Thailand, Japan, and Australia, and expands his search to include bigger and bolder creatures like carnivorous ghost bats, the world’s longest-fanged snake, and a deep sea creature considered one of the ocean’s most poisonous predators. In the Season 2 premiere “Kenya – Giant Spitting Cobra,” Monaghan embarks on a Kenyan safari in search of the giant spitting cobra. Known for its aggressive and deadly nature, Monaghan fearlessly tracks down and handles the venomous specimen.
