Now in its 24th season, Vancouver Fashion Week, which takes place twice a year, opened this past Tuesday and comes to an end on March 24th.
Van Fashion Week, which is visited by 20,000 people, will showcase the fall/winter collections of designers from 30 fashion-forward cities. Its opening gala was a glitzy evening with a number of local and national talent. Runway shows began right away, and over the course of the seven-day event, designers such as Lisa Loveday, Soojin Lee, Yuhshi Takahashi, and Evan Clayton will have shown their latest creations.
