Original Sin # 1 hasn’t even come out yet, but it looks like the Watcher isn’t the only one dying in this series.
Marvel has released a few preview pages from Original Sin # 2 by Jason Aaron and Mike Deodato that imply a connection between the Watcher’s murder and a cavern full of dead creatures deep within the Earth.
Meanwhile, the secrets hidden by the Watcher are being revealed and throwing the Marvel superheroes into a world of chaos. In a brief statement, Marvel Executive Editor Tom Brevoort said “This issue leads to the moment where the Pandora’s Box that is the Watcher’s accumulated lifetime of observations gets opened and sends the heroes of the Marvel Universe all off in different directions as information that they’d prefer to stay buried, or never knew about in the first place, gets released into the world.”
Original Sin # 2 hits stores on Wednesday, May 21.
