If you like your Xbox games, get ready…because you’re about to get a whole bunch more content — live-action content — around some of your favorite titles.
Our friends at Crave gaming site Destructoid got the scoop on the full slate of Xbox Originals programming — and the list includes movies, TV series and other video content based on six popular games: Halo, State of Decay, Gears of War, Forza, Fable, and Age of Empires.
As Xbox Entertainment Studios executive vice president Jordan Levin told Destructoid:
“These are six properties that we have immediately identified as having potential, that the company has raised as ones that they’re interested in looking at…All are at the earliest stages of conversation, we don’t want to force anything, we want to get to know each of the individual games studios responsible for those properties.”
As indicated, no word on exactly when we’ll be seeing all this new game-related content, but even though they’re early in development, don’t bet on a long wait for a lot of this stuff.
