On Christmas day, “Doctor Who” fans caught their first glimpse of Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor as he and Clara (Jenna Coleman) suddenly found the TARDIS crashing towards an unknown fate.
But this August, the new Doctor will be back in action on BBC One and BBC America. BBC has released a very brief teaser featuring the Twelfth Doctor as the TARDIS experiences some… distress.
A specific premiere date for “Doctor Who” Season 8 hasn’t been revealed, but it has been announced that Neve McIntosh, Catrin Stewart and Dan Starkey will be back as Vastra, Jenny and Strax with Samuel Anderson will joining the cast as Danny Pink, a friend of Clara’s who may find himself drawn into the Doctor’s orbit as well.
Keeley Hawes, Tom Riley, Ben Miller, Hermione Norris and Frank Skinner have also been cast in guest roles for “Doctor Who” Season 8. Presumably, more “Doctor Who” Season 8 trailers will be released in the weeks ahead.
