Last fall, Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow” emerged as one of the most surprising hits of the season and it earned a fast renewal from Fox. And apparently the push for more “Sleepy Hollow” is just beginning.
Earlier today, Boom! Studios sent out the following cover without any additional information or a creative team announcement. But there’s no mistaking this as anything other than a “Sleepy Hollow” comic, as the cover features Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills facing off against the Headless Horseman.

Presumably “Sleepy Hollow” will be one of Boom! Studios’ big San Diego Comic-Con announcements. Although a popular tactic among some comic companies is to make the announcement shortly before Comic-Con to dominate the news cycle. Either way, expect official details to follow some time in the next month.
“Sleepy Hollow” Season 2 will return to Fox this fall. It’s likely that Boom! Studios’ “Sleepy Hollow” comic will be released shortly after that.
