Last year, The CW laid the groundwork for “The Flash” by introducing Grant Gustin as Barry Allen in two episodes of “Arrow.” Ahead of “The Flash” series premiere and the return of “Arrow,” The CW is going to ensure that no one forgets about its DC superheroes.
On Wednesday, October 1, The CW will run the two part episode of “Arrow” that set up Barry’s transformation into the Flash. The CW will then premiere the pilot episode of “The Flash” on Tuesday, October 7, right before the tenth season premiere of “Supernatural.”
“Arrow” Season 3 will premiere on Wednesday, October 8, where it will be followed by a repeat of “The Flash” pilot. While “The Flash” will remain on Tuesday nights, an encore of episode 2 will follow “Arrow” on Wednesday, October 15 before “The 100” takes over the Wednesday 9pm time slot on October 22.
