The bungee swings that drop you with two or three of your friends at once…

Whatever it is, I’ll ride it. I’m a thrill junkie. However, when it comes to Verruckt, even I have to question my courage.

Verruckt is the world’s tallest water slide located in Kansas City (I know, random) that is set to open ‘sometime in 2014,’ according to reports. The opening of the slide at Schlitterbahn water park has been pushed back many times due to safety concerns and restructuring.

Just recently a POV video was published of the slide’s engineers taking the first human ride down the treacherous fall. It’s absolutely terrifying.

FYI:  The slide is 17 stories high, which is taller than Niagra Falls. You have to climb 264 steps to get to the top of the death wish, er, I mean, slide…. Just notice the nets! In case you were to fly out???

This is what happened in an earlier test, forcing them to redesign the arch in the slide.

My reaction to this video? — OH. MY. GOD.

The Verruckt is 168 feet and 7 inches tall. The Statue of Liberty is 151 feet.
