In Case You Missed It: Germany Wins World Cup, Goes Bonkers

Just in case you missed it over the weekend… Mario Gotze scored the match’s only goal in 113th minute during Germany’s 1-0 win over Argentina Sunday in the 2014 World Cup Final. As you could expect, and as you can see by the newspaper headlines above, it was an absolute frenzy in Germany following the country’s 4th World Cup championship.

You may have seen the goal by now, but what you haven’t seen is the craziness that erupted in Germany following the win.

But the opposite happened in South America, with violence erupting in Argentina following the loss.

The 2018 World Cup will be hosted in Russia. We can only hope there will be more celebrating and less non sense. But then again, we’re talking the friggin’ World Cup. At the end of the day there are only two things that can make a completely sane man lose his mind: a beautiful woman… and sports.
