Recipe: Whip Up Slow Cooker Wings for BBQ Side Dish

While meat sizzles away on your grill during any late summer barbecue, it’s good to have an appetizer waiting to keep your guests quiet. You’ve got work to do as the aspiring grill master, and the last thing you need is everyone hovering around the grill while you make your magic.

You need a first course. Yes, you can go with some sort of salad — but, if your guests are true meat eaters and BBQ lovers — the best course for “before meat” is more meat. This wings recipe is easy to put together and will prime the pumps for more barbecue. Better yet, you can cook these inside in the slow cooker before the guests arrive and just keep them warm and waiting.
