Earlier this year, DC Comics launched a revival of Sensation Comics as a digital first title. Like the original Sensation Comics, the revival of the title focuses on Wonder Woman. But the revival has the added benefit of pairing top name comic creators and allowing them to tell Wonder Woman stories without the constraint of continuity.
The first storyline by Gail Simone and Ethan Van Sciver brought Wonder Woman to Gotham City to fill in for Batman against his greatest enemies. This week in Sensation Comics Chapter # 4, the second storyline, “Brace Yourself” kicks off as Jason Bischoff and artist David Williams take us on a trip to Wonder Woman’s past.
In this exclusive preview from DC Comics, we learn how Wonder Woman earned at least one of her twin bracelets that allow her to deflect bullets and other projectiles. But getting the second bracelet may not be so easy…
