Through the first half of “Hannibal” Season 2, Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) was imprisoned after being expertly framed by Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) for several murders that Hannibal personally committed.
From his prison cell, Will could only watch as Hannibal continued to get away with his crimes. Hannibal even killed Will’s friend, Beverly Katz (Hettienne Park) when she stumbled upon the truth. When Will was finally released, he attempted to get close to Hannibal once again to expose his crimes… or kill him.

Enter Mason Verger.
As played by Michael Pitt, Verger was a wildcard in the second half of “Hannibal’s” second season. Verger was the heir to a meat packing empire and a sadist who delighted in the suffering of others. One of Verger’s victims was his own sister, Margot (Katharine Isabelle), a woman who seduced Will to father a child and free her of Verger’s control.
In this exclusive deleted scene from “Hannibal” Season 2, Will confronts Verger in one of his slaughterhouses after Margot was forced to abort her baby and sterilized. And as much as Will wants to kill Verger for what he did, he knows that this is exactly what Hannibal wanted to occur.
“Hannibal” Season 2 is out today on DVD and Blu-ray. The third season of “Hannibal” will return to NBC in 2015.
