This week, Anchor Bay Entertainment is unleashing Spartacus: The Complete Series on Blu-ray and DVD. This release collects all 39 episodes of “Spartacus,” the epic series based on the legendary warrior who broke his chains of slavery and threatened the Roman republic with his rebellion.
In the first season of “Spartacus,” the late Andy Whitfield provided an unforgettable performance as the title character. For the second season, Liam McIntyre took over the role of Spartacus alongside an impressive cast that included Manu Bennett, Lucy Lawless, Peter Mensah, Dustin Clare, Katrina Law and Nick E. Tarabay.
New extras created for this set include new audio commentaries, special featurettes on Liam McIntyre and composer Joseph LoDuca, as well as “The Last Word” with John Hannah. Anchor Bay is also offering an exclusive limited edition of the Spartacus: The Complete Series Blu-ray set that includes a Spartacus figurine display case that is unavailable anywhere else!
