Dynamite Entertainment & Kevin Smith In Talks For Tusk Comics

Kevin Smith’s newest film, Tusk is slated for release later this week. But it may end up heading to comic book shops in the future.

While speaking with Comic Book Resources, Smith said “We’ve been talking to the folks at Dynamite about doing Tusk universe comics, because I can pre-tell Howard Howe’s stories. That would be fun!”

Dynamite CEO and publisher, Nick Barrucci confirmed the story to CBR and added that “Kevin’s Tusk movie looks amazing, and he’s been kind enough to allow us to be a part of it, Man, think of the possibilities of the early stories. That will be some pretty intense comics. As soon as Kevin is ready, we cannot wait to publish the comic.”

Johnny Depp, Haley Joel Osment and Génesis Rodrígue co-star in the film, which will hit theaters on Friday, September 19.
