Jordan Zimmermann Throws No-Hitter On Last Day Of Season

Well that was one hell of a way to end the regular season.

Nationals hurler Jordan Zimmermann threw his first career no-hitter against the Marlins Sunday, and just as if he were Paul McCartney himself, he ‘got by with a little help from his friends.’

Sorry, I was at a Fab Four concert this past Wednesday night.

Anywho, watch this catch by outfielder Steven Souza that saved not only Zimmermann’s day, but possibly the Nationals’ as well in this 1-0 win.

The Nationals finished with the best record in the National League and will play the winner of the Giants-Pirates matchup for the NLDS this next weekend.
