While most people were busy consuming cinematic fast food like Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles this summer, some of us were enjoying the tasty little delicacy that was Jon Favreau’s Chef. The film was written and directed by the Iron Man filmmaker, who also stars as a gourmet chef whose career hits the skids after a bad review leads to an online flame war. It’s the film CraveOnline called “charming [and] thoughtful,” and it made our list of The Best indie Films of Summer 2014.

So we are very happy to present to you this exclusive clip of Chef, featuring Jon Favreau and Emjay Anthony as father and son, at the farmer’s market, trying to connect over the pretty annoying minutiae of how his job really works.
