On his radio show Monday, ESPN Radio host Colin Cowherd declared Alabama’s dynasty “is over!.” Phyllis, from Mulga, Alabama, called into Paul Finebaum’s show Tuesday to offer a rebuttal. It goes something like this.
Notice how Finebaum barely cracks but a grin this entire call. It’s because he deals with these loons every single day…. And I love it.
I too, am a loon, and a graduate of the University of Alabama. I also love Colin Cowherd, and although I’m not giving up on the hope Alabama’s dynasty isn’t over, I can see why someone like “Cow turd” could make an argument. But then again, I’m not from Mulga, Alabama.
Let’s be honest here, Phyllis could have said a lot worse than “Cow turd,” and “kiss my butt,” prefacing her “roll tide!” Football is religion in Alabama and you don’t mess with religion in the south. Cowherd, excuse me, Cow turd, knows this. Solid ratings strategy, dude.
