Katy Perry Will Perform At Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show

News spread like wildfire Thursday night Katy Perry will be the halftime performer at Super Bowl XLIX this coming February 1.

According to Billboard, Perry will be the entertainment, although she denied on ESPN’s College Game Day this past Saturday that she refuses to pay to play the event, something the NFL stated would need to be the case this year.

Perry said on the air,  “I’m not the kind of girl who would pay to play the Super Bowl.”

Whichever the case may be, all reports indicate the “Teenage Dream,” will be struttin’ her stuff at the biggest sporting event of the year.

Perry has three platinum records on her resume as well as 58.1 million Twitter followers. Her biggest hits include, “I Kissed A Girl,” “Hot n’ Cold,” “California Gurls,” “Firework,” “Teenage Dream,” “Last Friday Night,” “Part of Me,” “Roar” and “Dark Horse.”
