As if it could really get that much better, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk will be even more terrifyingly real and ferocious in Avengers: Age of Ultron. It’ll be more true to Stan Lee’s vision of the Hulk, but in ways that are more convincing in terms of the level of realism in the facial performance.
Muse, developed by Industrial Light and Magic (ILM), is fancy schmancy new motion capture technology that was first tried out in the recent TMNT film. It provides a creepily real representation of real actors superimposed over, or represented through, digital images on screen.
Hopefully this new tech from ILM will establish the Hulk, once again, as the fearsome, awesome, unstoppable force that he is, in a way that wows moviegoers.
