Michael Clarke Injured Again

Australian captain Michael Clarke has re-aggravated his hamstring in the first One Day International against South Africa at the WACA ground in Perth on Friday.

Clarke will head for scans on Saturday to determine the severity of the injury. He pulled out of the match after leaving the field at the end of his innings. Clarke was out for 11 runs from 20 balls after being caught behind by Quinton de Kock off the bowling of Steyn.

A swinging George Bailey took the reins as captain, playing a key role hitting 70-runs in an impressive batting display on a good wicket.

The cloud of doubt is growing over Clarke’s involvement in the upcoming Cricket World Cup.
