Taking a break from what seems like an endless amount of sports injury reports, let’s take a moment to recognize one of the nicer things to come out of the NFL recently.
Seattle Seahawk Marshawn Lynch was at a gas station and noticed an abandoned wallet. What’s more interesting is that the individual whose wallet he found happened to also have the same last name (albeit unrelated).
The NFL star made a point of returning the wallet to the fortunate man’s neighbor (he wasn’t home). Mr. Jason Lynch was quite relieved to get his wallet back, and Tweeted a pic to Marshawn, thanking him for “taking care of a Lynch.” Marshawn gave him a retweet. It’s nice to see an act of kindness, because losing a wallet is never fun and always unsettling.
