Saul Goodman will finally have his day in court. Or perhaps avoiding court altogether…
AMC has announced that “Better Call Saul” will premiere on Sunday, February 8, presumably behind an episode of “The Walking Dead.” The second episode of “Better Call Saul” will bow the next night, Monday, February 9 in its regular time slot at 10pm.
Co-created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, “Better Call Saul” is a spinoff and a prequel series to “Breaking Bad” with Bob Odenkirk reprising his role as “Criminal Lawyer” Saul Goodman. The series will take place in 2002, when Saul was still a struggling lawyer going by his real name, Jimmy McGill.

Former “Breaking Bad” co-star Jonathan Banks will also be a series regular on “Better Call Saul” as Mike Ehrmantraut, the former cop turned professional fixer. Michael McKean will portray Jimmy’s brother, Chuck.
Patrick Fabian, Rhea Seehorn, Michael Mando, Julie Ann Emery, Jeremy Shamo and Kerry Condon round out the supporting cast of “Better Call Saul.” AMC has previously delayed the ten episode first season, but “Better Call Saul” has already been renewed for a second season.
AMC has also released a new teaser trailer for “Better Call Saul,” although it lacks any real footage from the series itself.
