Earlier this week, Jessica de Gouw was reportedly one of the few actresses invited by Marvel to test for the title character in “Jessica Jones.” If de Gouw gets that role, it may be a long time before “Arrow” fans see her reprise The Huntress aka Helena Bertinelli.
But Oliver Queen isn’t that lucky.
In the DC digital first comic, Arrow Season 2.5, Oliver has once again come face-to-face with the woman who was briefly his partner and his lover. But this time, Helena seems to be out for blood despite showing remorse for her actions during her last appearance on the show.
That’s assuming that Helena is really appearing in these exclusive preview pages from Arrow Season 2.5 Chapter # 7. One of her claims is pretty easily disproven by anyone who is current with the third season.
“Arrow” executive producer Marc Guggenheim and Keto Shimizu are writing Arrow Season 2.5 Chapter # 7 with artists Joe Bennett, Craig Yeung, Neil Edwards, Elena Casagrande, Beni Lobel, Angel Hernandez, and Rod Reis. The issue will be released online next Monday, November 24 via the DC Comics App, Readdcentertainment.com, comiXology, Google Play, Kindle Store, Nook Store and iBooks.
