Seth Rogen has invited his fans to “get baked” with him and then watch his new movie, “The Interview.”
He tweeted several days, “Hey Denver! Wanna get baked with ME and then watch my new movie The Interview?! You can on Dec. 8th! Email RSVPTheInterviewDenver@gmail.com.” The day before he sent out this tweet: “We are going to do a screening of #TheInterviewMovie in Colorado where I get baked with everyone first, and we can smoke weed in the theater.”
Colorado recently legalized marijuana however it is prohibited in private spaces, meaning that the theatre Rogen is inviting everyone to must be private and the event would need to be 21 years old and over (Variety.com). This isn’t the first time that Rogen has waved openly shown his support of marijuana – not only has be played a number of pot-smoking characters in his movies but he is also a member of the American non-profit group NORML, which supports the legalization of marijuana.
“The Interview,” which co-stars James Franco, opens in theatres from coast to coast on Christmas Day. It follows Dave Skylark and his producer Aaron Rapoport as these two journalists run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show “Skylark Tonight.” Lizzy Caplan and Randall Park will also star in the flick.
