Total War: ARENA, a multiplayer team-based strategy game from a group withing Creative Assembly, is now open for closed alpha signups.
The newest title by the famed SEGA developer pits teams of ten against one another, each of them controlling a commander and three units; both can be upgraded to improve equipment and skills.
While it is PC-exclusive at this point, a move to handheld devices in the future wouldn’t be surprising, given the nature of the gameplay.
