Yukon Gold Test Family And Fortune In Season 3

HISTORY’s high-stakes docu-series “Yukon Gold” returns with a new family-feuding season this February when the miners must reconcile their personal and professional commitments in their relentless pursuit for gold. The show is the network’s top-rated docu-drama.

Miners Ken Foye and Guillaume Brodeur, Karl Knutsen, and Cam Johnson return this season, while ambitious power couple and newcomers Chris St. Jean and Nika Guilbault join the cast and make Nika the series’ first female lead miner – they are tackling Stowe Creek with their toddler daughter, Zyla, in tow. She’s a barrel of fun, but the added responsibility of having her around amplifies an already stressful environment. Although Chris is a tireless and clever miner, he has a short-temper under stress and a chronic knee problem that threatens to sideline their entire operation. It will be up to Nika to balance Chris out and keep their business and family together.Returning veteran Guillaume also faces challenges this season after becoming equal partners with Ken and they’re looking for redemption following two financially and emotionally devastating mining seasons.

“Yukon Gold” is produced by Paperny Entertainment and was picked up by the American network National Geographic Channel in 2013.

The new season of “Yukon Gold” premieres on Wednesday, February 25th at 10pm on HISTORY.
