Sometimes, you just have to reflect on what in life is important, because you never know when one moment or another could literally send you to your death. It’s a morbid and ultra-realist thing to say, yes, but maybe New York Giants tight end Larry Donnell sees the unfortunate truth to that statement; the plane he was on after finishing up a Giants contract signing in Atlanta nearly slid all the way into the drink at LaGuardia Airport. It was surely a harrowing experience, as that water would have been ultimately unforgiving, had there been enough damage to spill anyone into the elements forcefully.
Thankfully, he’s alright, the plane stopped just short of the water, and there were no life-threatening injuries. Life’s sure full of surprises, eh? One minute you’re signing a contract and furthering your career, and the next you’re landing on a snowy runway and careening toward possible disaster.
Live well and love abundantly, everybody. That’s the moral of the story here, and let’s not wait to remember that until it’s too late.
